Position Description
Develops, maintains, and communicates strategies, policies, and initiatives to enhance safety and airworthiness of Company products and services. Researches, analyzes, and assesses safety and regulatory data, trends, and developments for impact to Company products and services. Contributes to influencing safety and airworthiness initiatives through application of specialized technical expertise in airspace operations, human factors, air navigation, customer operations, safety management, policy, or regulatory domains. Collaborates with external stakeholders (customers, regulators, industry, and external organizations) to identify safety and airworthiness issues and supports developing and implementing solutions. Addresses safety and regulatory technical inquires and requests from internal and external stakeholders. Supports and facilitates the investigation of organizational factors that contribute to safety and airworthiness issues. Supports the deployment and implementation of safety and regulatory policy, standards, and guidance. Participates in advocating internally and externally for safety and regulatory enhancements to support Company products and services. Provides technical guidance and training relative to moderately complex safety and airworthiness matters.
