JOB DUTIES: The primary responsibilities of a SKIMS Programmer Analyst Level 4 are to provide technical application support and maintain/develop functionality within the Spares Kitting Information Management System (SKIMS). This includes creating and maintaining custom code for interfaces, reports, batch processes & transaction processing.
The analyst will use standard software development techniques to help create information systems solutions to new business problems. The analyst will perform the design, program, unit-test, implementation and documentation of complex code.
The analyst must understand database structures and be able to conduct data reporting and analysis using SQL skills. UNIX skills and Oracle DB skills are required. They must act as an information resource and consultant to the user community. They will ensure correct operation of production information management systems, resolving data and processing problems as necessary. Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite of application is highly desirable.
Ability to perform some Functional Analyst tasks would be highly desirable. This would include gathering functional requirements, and developing and executing functional test scripts.
JOB SKILLS: At least 3 or more years of developing software with Oracle databases.
Desired: Experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Development Tools (Toad or SQL Developer), Perl, AD&S.
The prospective candidate must have several years of experience in information systems development and/or sustaining activities. They must have demonstrated successful execution of assignments in the skill set.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
