Routing wire bundle harnesses will be primary function but may include the following as well. As an Aircraft Assembler, perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical sub/assemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations. Work in assigned manufacturing production department to learn and perform a variety structural assembly operations, fastener installation, and inspection duties while working from electronic models, manufacturing specifications, procedures, and instructions. Drill, edge fill, fit and assemble a variety of detail parts, skins and assemblies. Inspect for proper installations and integrity. Approve and stamp acceptable assemblies and reject assemblies not meeting requirements. Perform delegated Production Accountability duties associated with the processing, verification, quality auditing and inspection of assemblies, parts and tooling. Maintain necessary documentation and records. Refer any unusual problems to supervision. Keep work areas clean and orderly. May work in aft body assembly, mid body assembly or final assembly. Perform other related duties as required.
JOB SKILLS: General ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Must be physically capable of working in a factory production environment which includes lifting, walking, bending, kneeling, stair climbing, and operating hand and powered tools.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
