JOB DUTIES:
Assists Allocation Manager in placing orders and inventory distribution. Assists and or creates purchase orders for the acquisition of materials. Provides routine administrative support and is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. May be responsible for some inventory replenishment but without open-to-buy responsibilities.
Allocations and Inventory Management:
-Work with Allocations Manager to ensure correct initial product placement and order quantity
-Daily communication with stores to minimize out of stocks and meet requests
-Review weekly sales reports in Counterpoint to monitor merchandise flow and determine appropriate reorder quantity and delivery period
-Update Stores PO log with purchase orders after run review with buyers
-Run open PO report, track and update purchase orders as needed (weekly)
-New item SKU creations for buyers and distribution of new merchandise in an appropriate manner
-Assist with price changes on new markdowns and clearance
-Notify Allocation Manager of supply levels to signal reorders
-Visit KP warehouse weekly (spend 1 day a week if necessary)
-Work with KP to minimize pallet space, distribute items with low on hands to optimize sell through
-Pull marked down and discontinued merchandise from KP on monthly basis
JOB SKILLS: Education: BA preferred
Experience: 2-5 years of allocations experience
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
