This position is for a project manager responsible for the schedule and plans development for design, installation, and review timing of technical data and certification of Cabin Systems equipment on all models of Boeing airplanes.
These systems consist ofPassenger Address Systems, Cabin Interphones, Passenger Services, In-flight Entertainment (in-seat audioand video, overhead monitors, and video on demand systems), broadband off-board communications systems, and telephone systems. The first priority will be re-plan of the software development for the onbard networks.
JOB SKILLS: This position is high visibility in an area that is under severe schedule constraints. The product that is installed changes slightly on each installation with large and complex integration of hardware and software. People interested in the position should have experience with scheduling and project management of complex avionics or electrical systems. The candidates will be expected to apply project management principles to develop, analyze, and validate completion for complex systems and sub-systems so that these can be installed on time on the airplane. This job requires an PM certificate ideally licence with typically 8 years experience. An engineering experience would be a plus.
