Position Description:
**Secret Clearance Required to Start**
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Requirements:
This role will support the F/A-18 Training Systems SEIT Team performing the following tasks:
• Leading the team to select a test automation tool-set/tech-stack
• Leverage industry knowledge to define team best practices, processes, and procedures for automated testing
• Conducting trade studies and value assessments to determine the business benefit of automating specific tests
• Prioritizing test automation candidates based on business value
• Start converting existing regression testing to automated tests
• Create automated tests in conjunction with creating new test procedures
Typical Experience/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, related field, or foreign equivalent
• 5+ years experience testing software
• 3+ years test automation experience
• Experience with Java and C++ programming languages
• Experience evaluating existing manual regression tests for test automation business cases
• Experience integrating automated testing into existing systems
Security Clearance
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
