Position Description: **Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance** At Company, our mission is to connect, protect, explore and inspire the world through aerospace innovation. To help enable this and drive our mission forward we are currently seeking experienced software architects to join our Company Avionics Team in St. Louis, MO. As a Software Architect on this team you will work with the Vehicle Health Management Solutions Chief Software Architect to create a common technical vision, make high-level design choices and develop software implementation guidelines to ensure that the software developed will meet functional requirements and design constraints. The software we develop will monitor and assess aircraft fault data to provide flight deck and maintenance personnel with appropriate information for assessing the health of the aircraft. There will be both on-board (semi-realtime to realtime) and off-board (web-based and cloud deployed) functionality to this software. Prior experience in developing software architectures in a complex system is critical to success in this role.

Requirements: • Experience developing Large scale, complex software systems • Experience in developing software architectures in a complex system • Experience developing software in an agile environment • Experience developing software in C++ and/or Java • Experience working with embedded, real-time software • Experience working with web-base applications deployed in the cloud • Willingness to work with a geographically dispersed team Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
