Position Description

Determines approaches to and leads development of, complex weight, balance and mass properties data. Leads the definition of complex weight, balance and mass properties related design requirements. Participates in developing challenging customer specification commitments. Determines approaches to and leads development of, vehicle or system configuration guidance. Leads high-level weight control efforts. Oversees the estimation, calculation, measurement and verification of mass, weight, stiffness and inertias. Leads development and maintenance of weight, balance and mass properties accounting systems and oversees weight and balance reports. Creates innovative concepts and leads the development and implementation of new processes and tools. Works under minimal direction. Experience with interiors and subcontractor monitoring highly desired.

Requirements

Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
