Electrical Systems Integrator

Position Description:

In your role, you will:
- Generate 3D collectors of the aircraft interior components from the KBE models (Knowledge Based Engineering) for customer specific configurations.
- Create new CATIA models for specific customer requests to support the creation of the interior Scene views.
- Build the Definition Product Structure for projects on which you will be assigned.
- Generate the Scene views of the aircraft interior that will be used to create Customer Specifications.
- Create annotations on Scene views to callout components and characteristics of the aircraft interior.
- Support the Customer Definition team throughout the definition process, from the first Customer meeting to the aircraft Kick-off.
- Chair 3D reviews of customer configurations with the various definition process stakeholders.
- Investigate technical issues with Engineering and Industrial Design. Follow-up on technical actions.
- Revise Customer Specification Scene views as required during the Completions lifecycle if changes are required.
- Support the creation of 3D collectors for the VSpec Customer definition tool.
- Work closely with the KBE team to continuously improve customer definition processes.
- Interact with the Engineering team, Industrial Design team, KBE team and Customer Account Managers.
- You must be capable of managing time, priorities and activities adequately and autonomously in a development program environment.
Requirements:


As our ideal candidate,
- You have an Engineering Degree or College / Technical equivalent.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the development and design of Business Aircraft Interiors.
- You have a good knowledge of CATIA V5 and ENOVIA.
- You have knowledge of Business Aircraft Customer Definition processes.
- You have knowledge of KBE tools.
- You are resourceful in identifying and removing roadblocks and looking for creative ways to overcome challenges, and can maintain a strong adherence to the Program/Project long term vision.
- You are able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing with ability to work independently both in French and English.
- You are a team player, you have the ability to work with minimal supervision, you thrive in a dynamic working environment, are mobile (Montreal area) and are able to make autonomous decisions

Key Skills:
- Must have previous development and Integration experience with suppliers, ability to review and approve supplier documents ( Qualification plans, IDD's (interface data dictionary) , QTP (qualification Test Procedure), SDD (System Definintion Drawing) , ESSD's (Electric Systems Schematic Drawings)
- Must be proficient in Ms Office, 3D design with CATIA V5, ENOVIA, AutoCAD
- Previous experience with Mentor Graphics and Auto Wire,is an asset.
- Must have excellent documentation skills.
- Must have excellent problem solving skills
- Must have experience in integration.
- Must have excellent Communication Skills.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the development and design of Business Aircraft Interiors.
Must have knowledge of KBE tools (Knowledge Based Engineering).
Experience in project management would be an asset.
Must be capable of creating system block diagrams, defining I/O signales, SOW creation, Writing RFQ, Impact Statements, EMC tests, and must have knowledge of airworthiness regulations(FAR25), testing and installation.
Must be capable of working under pressure, high communication skills, attentive to details, good planning skils and fully committed to accomplishing work on time and on schedule.
