Position Description: **4X10 Shift** Position Purpose: Create design drawings for manufacturing of aircraft parts, assemblies, and installations working from customer specifications and instructions. Ensure that activities are in line with internal/external customers, FAA requirements, and Company processes to achieve department objectives. Essential Functions: 1. Conduct research for information on existing drawings, hardware, vendor parts, etc. relating to job task. 2. Evaluate customer requirements and provides recommendations related to the design. 3. Identify problems and provides solutions to designs. 4. Coordinate design work with other departments, engineers, and designers as required in order to complete in a timely manner. Additional Functions: 1. Enforce safety rules and procedures. 2. Ensure application of all Company regulations and policies. 3. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements: Unique Skills: Ideal candidate will have Bachelors Degree and 2 - 5 years of experience or 8+ years of design experience. - AutoCAD, SmarTeam, CaTIA V5 (or software similar to these) - Completions / Interiors layout experience preferred - Aviation interiors experience preferred Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in Drafting, Design Engineering or related curriculum; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Proficient in operating CAD equipment.
