Position Description

The successful candidate will function as an tech data designer for Company rotorcraft platforms, AH-64 Apache experience is preferred. Experience may include mechanical, electrical, avionics and ordnance. Analyzes and evaluates engineering source data, vendor data, and customer data in order to design, organize, and develop technical data required to operate and maintain technical documents. Analyzes and evaluates impact of engineering changes on technical data. The position requires the development and implementation of maintenance tasks, Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP’s) and Maintenance Operational Check (MOC’s). Requires the ability to read, interpret & analyze engineering data, and tool lists. The position requires an extensive working knowledge of helicopter systems operation and multiple levels of maintenance concepts.

Must be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to personnel while interfacing effectively with team partners, Integrated Product Team (IPT) members, Customers and cross-functional disciplines. Requires knowledge of logistics support processes and requirements. Must be results oriented with excellent problem solving abilities, decision-making and organizational skills, as well as the capability to adapt to change and handle challenging situations calmly and dependably. This position requires strong organizational and communications skills (verbal and written). Must possess the ability to work as a member of an IPT. Strong administrative/PC skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks are a must. Candidate should have high priority on first time quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and typically 2 to 4 years' related work experience or a Master's degree with up to 2 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 30% Rotorcraft systems and sub-systems knowledge; 25% Computer systems knowledge and Skills; 20% Analysis and Problem Solving Skills; 15% Communication/Coordination Skills; 10% Knowledge of technical manual styles and uses.
