Position Description: Title: MES Manufacturing Engineer Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods. Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.

Requirements: Education: Must have H.S. Diploma or equivalent. Does not have to possess an engineering degree but must be able to perform the following tasks: • Take an active role in the implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) throughout the plant. • Review, document, photograph and improve manufacturing process data for various products throughout the plant. • Develop standard work instructions and training material. • Deliver training to employees. • Work directly with production associates from all levels of the plant to build and sustain standard processes Skills should include: • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. • Knowledge of manufacturing assembly and fabrication processes • Familiarity with quality systems • Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) • Overall computer skills • Experience in a manufacturing engineering role is preferred
