Position Description:

**Full Flexibility is expected; There is a possibility that the candidate may be required to work evening shift. Must be able to travel occasionally to support offsite testing**

Looking for propulsion engineers as part of the core engineering propulsion and pneumatics group with various level of experience to support the cseries flight test campaign.

You will cover aircraft systems such as powerplant, fuel, fuel tank inerting, fideex and apu.

In your role you will:
• Be responsible, as member of the flight test center engineering team, for the integration of your respective system(s) on the aircraft,
• Provide design/design support,
• generate test and certification documentation (e.g. functional test plans, flight test plans, test reports, etc.),
• Create and manage test conformities,
• Analyze test data,
• Work with suppliers to investigate aircraft snags,
• Perform troubleshooting and resolution of issues
• Support ground and flight crews to maintain aircraft operations.



Requirements:


As our ideal candidate,
• You possess as a minimum a bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering with 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in propulsion.
• Having experience in flight testing, as well as a master's degree, is an asset.
• You possess good knowledge of propulsion systems and their integration on the aircraft. you also have knowledge of the aircraft and propulsion interfacing systems.
• Your base of operation is Mirabel, QC.
• You need to be able to support off-site flight test campaigns as required.
• You possess good software application skills in windows (word, excel, powerpoint).
• You possess good interpersonal skills in order to interface with other groups and suppliers as well as good written and oral communication skills in english.
• You have experience with propulsion systems such as APU, fuel, FIDEX


Key Skills Required:
- Must have a good knowledge of propulsion systems and their integration on the aircraft. you also have knowledge of the aircraft and propulsion interfacing systems.

- Must have good troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.

- Must be able to support off-site flight test campaigns as required.

- Must be proficient in MS Office software applications in windows (word, excel, powerpoint).

- Must have good interpersonal skills in order to interface with other groups and suppliers as well as good written and oral communication skills in english.
