Position Description: The Company Research and Technology organization is seeking a Lab Technician to join the Composite Materials Lab in Ridley Park, PA. This is a hands-on position that requires experience with composite fabrication and testing. The Lab Technician will perform the following: Provides consultation and direction regarding research, tests and analyses to support the use of materials, processes and equipment in the engineering and manufacture of products. Consults on methodologies to evaluate and qualify materials, processes, suppliers and equipment against conformance and producibility requirements. Oversees complex parts failure analysis. Directs the design, fabrication and testing of new concepts and technologies for incorporation into materials, processes and equipment. Directs the design, fabrication and test of prototype and large scale assemblies. Supports production implementation of materials, processes and equipment. Provides direction on content of material and process specification and standards. Works under consultative direction.

Requirements: Education / Experience: AA degree in related discipline and typically 9 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
