CTS and the largest aircraft company in the world will be conducting in-person interviews in Europe and extending on-the-spot job offers to Stress Analysts and Structural Design Engineers for long-term employment in Seattle, WA, USA. JOB DETAILS:
Perform structural analysis of primary and secondary structures for Commercial Airplanes. Independently develop technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organizational objectives and industry standards. Work will be performed under general direction and reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer coordination. Ensure that airplane structure meets all applicable regulatory requirements and Company design criteria.
RREQUIRES B.S. OR M.S. OR P.H.D. Degree in Engineering (MECHANICAL, CIVIL OR AERONAUTICAL/ AEROSPACE preferred) and typically a minimum of 9 years experience in an Engineering classification. Candidate must have evidence to show they are capable of performing detail stress analysis using classical and automated methods. Candidate MUST HAVE engineering experience with primary aircraft structures (fuselage, wing, empennage, etc.). Candidate MUST HAVE experience working with large transport Aircraft Design and Analysis; Candidate will have commodity experience in at least three or more of the following areas: Aircraft Fuselage/ Empennage, Wing/ Composite Structure/ Metallic Structure/ Floors/ Landing Gear/ Structural Certification/ Fleet Support/ Product Development. Experience with durability and damage tolerance methods/ tools preferred. Excellent teaming skills required. Strong mechanical aptitude is desired. Strong communication skills and proficiency with standard PC desktop applications is required.
This requisition supports staffing requirements for several existing and developmental airplane programs in Washington State. Positions may be located in Everett, Seattle, Renton, Bellevue, Tukwila, or Mukilteo.
