Overview

Company is hiring Expert Level Tooling Manufacturing Planners to join our Production Engineering organization in Everett, Auburn, or Renton Washington.

In this role, you will serve as contributors to help support the implementation and sustainment of new and existing build plans that significantly impact the quality and cost performance of the program. - Plans and leads teams that support implementation of strategic business initiatives and manufacturing and tooling enhancements.
- Analyzes new technologies, concepts and processes that simplify and improve manufacturing processes.
- Supports benchmarking of industry to determine best practices.
- Leads integration of major, complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
- Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
- Develops unique and innovative tooling requirements in alignment with strategic initiatives.
- Establishes processes for managing tooling from initial design to end of use disposition.
- Leads investigations of critical manufacturing related issues.
- Develops and implements solutions involving a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Supports benchmarking of advanced applications and methodologies to support producibility improvements.
- Researches and develops unique and innovative manufacturing concepts.
- Influences the design to ensure efficient manufacturing and optimum value.
- Presents business case/trade study recommendations to leadership for review.
- Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
- Performs high level analysis of schedule and work statement processes to identify and mitigate manufacturing risks.
- Researches, develops and implements of new manufacturing processes to support long-range goals and strategic initiatives.
- Works under consultative direction.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
Requirements

What you'll need

Basic Qualifications
- 1 or more years' experience in a manufacturing production environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering Planning systems such as Product Data Manager (PDM) and Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP).

Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 9 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
