Position Description

Defines, documents and interprets product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes. Develops, documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control. Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements. Assists with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes. Works general direction.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead and refine current software procurement process for P-8A training devices
Track procurement status of software by coordinating with Procurement Agent and Supplier Management
Manage all aspects of licenses procured to be delivered with P-8A training devices
Act as a liaison for program to Supplier Management for software use requirements to guide negotiations of Software License Terms and Conditions regarding export, transferability, audit restrictions and other common exception licensing issues
Coordination with CDRL author(s) to ensure correct licensing information is incorporated in data deliverables
Review license material received to ensure it matches the requested terms
Manage and control license allocations, maintenance tracking, and delivery documentation
Support the due diligence process to ensure questions from buyer/legal are answered in a timely manner
Review software procurement content to be presented at Chief Engineering Council to ensure it is correct before it is presented for approval to the USG
Works with general supervision.
