Position Description

**Secret Clearance Required to Start**

Job Description
The successful candidate will perform information assurance / cybersecurity tasks including:
Perform Information Assurance, Cybersecurity engineering and analysis of the Ground and Training Systems.
Evaluate and verify Information Assurance System Requirements.
Perform Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) scans and analysis of computer systems.
Have used the DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution in the last 12 months.
Perform Vulnerability Assessment of computer systems.
Perform Penetration Testing of computer systems.
Perform Static Code Analysis of Software Development Projects.
Examine and evaluate Ports, Protocols and Processes of engineering computers.
Examine Software Assurance Reports for software development efforts.
Prepare technical briefings and discussion papers.

Requirements

Skills:
Must have final Secret Clearance (mandatory)
Demonstrated Experience with Software Development Life Cycle
Has done an information assurance assessment (a.k.a. cyber security assessment) of a classified software or hardware system in the last 12 months

Assets (Preferred/ nice to have.)
Professional Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or (ISC)2 CISSP / CSSLP are preferred.
Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering is preferred. Related degrees will be considered.
Have used the DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution in the last 12 months.
Demonstrated Experience with Unix/Linux operating system administration, Red Hat is preferred.
Demonstrated Experience with Windows Server administration.

Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
