Position Description
**The Candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by Company Security**
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to Company Shared Services Group (SSG) organization to achieve Supplier Diversity goals and initiatives.
Responsibilities will include:
1) Proposal support by providing small business contract language and developing strategies/plans to subcontract with diverse suppliers.
2) Strategic sourcing initiatives to expand the company base and increase utilization of small/diverse businesses for current and future procurement requirements.
3) Supply base analysis, utilization gap assessment and targeted outreach efforts to identify potential suppliers.
4) Development and implementation of enhanced business intelligence methods and tools to increase visibility of utilization opportunities and meet contractual obligations (trend analysis, long range business plans, procurement projections).
5) Market Company to potential small/diverse suppliers and provide awareness/recommendations of potential suppliers back to Company procurement teams.
6) Establish working partnerships with internal and external customers and special interest groups.
7) Prepare and submit written and verbal reports for business unit, functional, customer, advocacy
councils and supplier diversity management reviews.
8) Promote the value of Company's Supplier Diversity program and provide guidance and direction regarding company policies and procedures and other resources to diverse suppliers.
9) Participate on procurement and make/buy review boards to insure inclusion of diverse suppliers in the source selection process.
10) Review federal regulations and laws to assess the impact on supplier diversity program, and research information used to provide feedback to regulatory agencies.
11) Assess and insure compliance to company/state/federal policies, rules, and regulations; conduct internal and external reviews and audits.
12) Deploy supplier diversity subcontract plan initiatives and targets by working with multi-functional teams to execute plans that meet quantitative targets and objectives to support customer specific requirements.
13) Support related outreach initiatives and uses formal presentations, web based applications, communications plans and other methods to integrate supplier diversity throughout the enterprise.
14) Assist in annual forecasting and goal development for comprehensive and individual subcontracting plans.
15) Establish methodology to identify Company subcontract needs and opportunities to provide supplier referrals.
16) Participate in the development of common strategy and process.
17) Collect, monitor and analyze complex procurement data from multiple sources to track performance to plan, monitor progress to milestone schedules and goals, establish corrective action plans as needed, support process and reporting decisions.
18) Develop and provide performance reports including: metrics/scorecards, variance/risk/opportunity analysis, data validation, audit/compliance support, and customer reports (including those to the US Government).
19) Assist with training/supporting Supplier Diversity personnel with metrics and ad-hoc reporting and development/deployment of process improvements.

9.) Presentation Skills/Techniques - Knowledge of presentation techniques (e.g., posture, speaker's relationship to audience, use of intonation and props, use of visual aids and pacing).
10.) Supply Chain Strategy - Advanced knowledge of supply chain strategies (e.g., inventory reduction, parts kitting,supplier consolidation, optimum flow, lead-time reduction).
