Position Description

We have a DIRECT-HIRE opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer in St. Louis, MO with the industry leader in the production of honing equipment.

This position is within the Product Support Team.

This role will frequently work with internal teams, as well as external customers/vendors. A basic knowledge of Manufacturing Processes is key.

- Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical design and/or project engineering (Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered and compensation would be based upon relevant experience to position)
- Experience with automation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as applied in a manufacturing/machining environment
- CAD Experience in solid modeling – ProE is a plus
- Knowledge of various manufacturing processes as related to design and production of machine tools
- Views occasional travel to customer sites as an opportunity for self-improvement
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills
