Overview

JOB DUTIES: Development, integration, coordination, commitment, and tracking of highly complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Predecessor/Successor Networks, and all lower-level detailed and/or supporting schedules utilizing MS Project in support of major proposals. Transition of those schedules into OPP once they are fully developed and under configuration control. Perform regular weekly project schedule analysis and assessment to provide visibility, guidance and recommendations regarding: (1) Schedule performance and (2) Integrated Scheduling processes, procedures, and products. Prepare, analyze, and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly project schedule health metrics, schedule performance metrics, trend analysis, validation reports, diagnostic reports, and supporting data as required.

JOB SKILLS: Preferably 10+ years experience in program/project planning, integrated scheduling, and baseline management principles and processes.
Scheduling Requirements - Advanced knowledge of customer and supplier requirements to support program deliveries, for example planned versus unplanned demand, economic order quantity, resource planning, material type, manufacture or purchase, lead times. Demonstrates systems thinking ability to support customer requirements.

Project Sched & Resource Mgmt - Advanced/expert ability to plan, organize and direct the creation of comprehensive multi-tiered project schedules for significant organization, enterprise, and business unit projects. Advanced/expert ability to identify time frames for key project milestones, ensure alignment of sub tier activities for overall project visibility, tracking and completion, direct and manage more complex project schedules requiring interfacing with multi regional or international activities, independently identify project resource requirements, and integrate and direct multi project elements into a single collective overall project plan. Advanced/expert ability to collaborate with others on the extremely complex projects assigned.

Critical Path Methodology -Advanced/expert knowledge of critical path network methodology (e.g., logic, relationship/interdependency, early/late, start/complete, minimum duration).
Earned Value Management - Advanced/expert knowledge of the Earned Value Management System
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
