Description of Requirements:
Proven success in developing and maintaining engineering procedures that define the manner in which process documentation is developed, maintained, controlled and disseminated to manufacturing environment. Oversee the justification and acquisition of all capital equipment as necessary.
Experience with multi (5)-axis machines, NX6 or Unigraphics, and Catia. Experience in model based definition a plus.
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or technically related field required. Ten (10) plus years experience in aerospace, or automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
Description of Job Duties:
Responsible for providing direction and oversight to core Manufacturing Engineering group. The core M.E. group is responsible for providing technical support for all areas of the business including; manufacturing operations, purchasing, assembly & test, heat treat and paint.
Position ensures that all processes within the company produce quality products in the most cost efficient manner possible.
