Job Description:
Company is seeking a full-time Software Engineer with JMPS UPC development experience to join our software development team. This position will develop state of the art software in the following Company product areas:
• Sharkfin – mission management and planning
• AVSM / DVSM – aircraft and ground management vehicle specific modules
Primary Responsibilities:
• SaaS (Software as a Service) development
• Design, develop, and test Mission Control Software for UAS Programs
• Participates in developing requirements to enhance the user interface and overall effectiveness of UAV Control Software
• Development of Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Interface Data Documentation (IDD)
• Participate in improvements in SQA practices that lead to CMMI 3 certification
• Work closely with growing team in a fast-paced development environment
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years experience writing object-oriented code for windows-based machines
• Experience in defining software architecture
• Experience with .NET, C#, and C++
• JMPS UPC development experience
• Familiar with the Visual Studio development environment
• Strong understanding of software development cycle and processes
• Experience with DirectX preferred
• Experience with CMMI is preferred
• Familiarity with STANAG 4586 is preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
