AIRCRAFT INTERIOR EXPERIENCE IS DESIRABLE
Responsibilities
Provide stress and weight analyses of the installation of interior components on
aircraft. Research aircraft configuration to ensure necessary stress analysis is performed. Perform stress analysis of aircraft interiors related support structure and composite structure. Review engineering drawings to ensure compliance with requirementsapplicable to air worthiness regulations and aircraft operational load limits. Generate or review formal weight estimates/reports, stress reports, test plans,
and finite element models
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in applicable engineering discipline
10+ years stress analysis experience required. Sr Stressopenings available
Experience with finite element modeling and hand calculation methods
FEMAP and NASTRAN experience
Basic CAD skills
PC literate in Word and Excel
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
