JOB DUTIES: Designs and develops Microsoft SQL Server 2008 databases with an emphasis on data warehouse design and reporting, searching across multiple databases including other database engines such as Oracle, and fine grained database security (role based and row level security). Collaborates with architects and technical specialists to identify optimal database designs. Creates and executes data extraction and load scripts. Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches. Documents database designs and operational processes. Works under general direction.
JOB SKILLS: 10 years of experience. Prefer SQL Server 2008 certification.
8+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
