Level 3 & Level 4 Integrated Scheduling Specialists needed. Pay DOE.
JOB DUTIES: Develops program and/or project level schedules for non-recurring aspects of Tanker Program. Integrates program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional and product groups, suppliers and partners. Performs schedule-related risk and opportunity analyses. Identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Identifies and reports schedule performance variances and associated cost impacts to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Performs scheduling impact analyses related to a change request and incorporates approved changes. Ensures configuration control of integrated program plans and schedules. Provides integrated scheduling products and services primarily associated with the project management discipline of time management. Develops program and/or project level schedules. Maintains plan/schedule baselines for the life of the program or project, integrating requirements for all functions to accomplish the full scope of the requirements/deliverables. Supports the development of products and services associated with integration management, communications management and scope management. Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated plan and schedule to meet all business offers (e.g., acquisitions, proposals) and program execution objectives, providing on-going analyses and forecasts.
JOB SKILLS: Bachelor's degree and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate will work with area focals collecting their plans, constructing them into a resource-loaded, logic-driven schedule that prioritizes activities, drives completion dates, and shows the critical path. Ideal candidate, after brief on the job training, will be able to perform this with minimal direction. Must have the motivation to proceed with independence when required, yet produce favorable results within stringent timelines. Candidate must be able collaborate and work together as a team when issues arise and decisions regarding schedule fidelity must be made. Candidate must work well under pressure. Candidate must be willing to seek solutions within a challenging environment or timeframe. Must be willing to support activity regardless of level of work. Candidate must be proficient in creating project networks with predecessor and successor relationships; should be proficient in understanding the types of relationships in a network and their affect on early and late dates; should be able to trace through a network looking for discrepancies and tracing negative float issues to the offending activity or activities; understanding of WBS construction. Candidate should possess horizontal and vertical integration understanding, critical path and variance analysis, baseline
