JOB DUTIES: This requisition is for an Attack / Reconnaissance Helicopter Operator training instructor and specialist. The selected candidate will design, develop, manage, conduct and evaluate complex, specialized technical operator (pilot) training for Apache AH-64D aircraft and derivatives for US and international customers employing a systematic methodology and instructional technology. The candidate will train aircraft operator students in an academic and simulator condition environment. The trainer's primary instruction focus is to AH-64D U.S. and international customer students with the possibility of instructing students on new and emerging manned rotary aircraft and Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) platforms. The primary location for this position is in Mesa, Arizona with possibility of short CONUS and overseas travel may be required. The candidate will develop new and update existing high quality aircraft operator training courses and materials to satisfy customer requirements and will ensure the accuracy and quality of training products. The candidate will teach new and existing courses using a variety of media and training devices. The candidate will assess student learning and adjust presentation to ensure successful understanding by all students. The candidate will work with general direction and supervision.

JOB SKILLS: Have a minimum of 10 years military attack helicopter operational experience. Have US Army Apache Instructor Pilot, Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instrument Examiner, and/or Maintenance Test Pilot Examiner experience. Have experience training and evaluating aircraft operators using simulators and other training devices.
11+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
