: Generates, correlates and analyzes large amounts of aircraft production and certification data. Audits data values for accuracy. Designs and builds complex data mining solutions. Performs and reports results of data analysis. Develops, normalizes and validates complex data models. Some statistical analyses may be required. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, schedule-driven environment. Experience working in DCCS to extract data.
The successful applicant will have strong Microsoft Access and Excel skills (Macro and Pivot Table experience will be helpful), and must be able to demonstrate Application Compatibility experience. An ability to present large datasets data in a clear, easily understood manner is required, together with a flexible attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Compiles, analyzes and formats data to provided documentation that assists internal customers in the development of engineering life cycle produces, services and processes. Verifies regulatory conformance and contractual compliance of products by checking that quality standards are met and configuration control enforced. Checks products using standard guidelines to verify regulatory conformance and contractual compliance. Maintains design documentation by using company/industry standards. Assists with the collection of customer requirements and assists with inputs to in the web pages. Works under general supervision.
JOB SKILLS: Designs, develops, builds, tests, integrates and supports computing tools, software, systems and networks for certification/compliance finding data systems that are used to support the certification of commercial airplane products. Gathers and analyzes customer and stakeholder requirements to support the development of plans and reports for certification to FAA and foreign regulatory requirements. Maintains, administers and supports basic integrated electronic/computing systems, databases and software for products in support of certification and aircraft delivery. Develops, designs and executes system analyses of specialized and highly complex datasets and reports and provides recommendations and consultation to customers and stakeholders. Works under general or minimal direction. May lead small teams engaged in the above described tasks. Maintain, administer and support UNIX, Linux, networks and software, including performing backups/restores, account management, application of security measures and OS and layered software installs and upgrades. Automate tasks through the use of administration tools and scripting (perl/shell). Monitor the health of the systems, and respond as needed to problems. Evaluate system performance and tune to meet changing requirements. Work with others to develop and document access control policies to ensure compliance with company security, information protection, and EAR/ITAR requirements. Experience in programming and shell scripts.
