JOB DUTIES:
Develops, maintains and modifies structural and interior payload system and component designs, using CATIA V5 and Enovia product data manager, to provide product definition. Integrates analytical and test results to verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Must know CATIA V5 Composite Grid Design and Enovia, aircraft experience required; 787 experience a plus. Must know model based definition and relational design.
JOB SKILLS:
Must be expert with CATIA V5 and relational design, model based definition.
Must know Geometric Tolerancing & Dimensioning per ANSI Y14.5M
Must have aircraft design experience. Desire 787 experience a plus. Desire Enovia Product Data Mgmt System experience a plus. Desire aircraft composite (CFRP) experience. CFRP = Carbon fiber reinforced plastic
Education: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's 14 or more years' experience, Master's with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience.
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
