Position

Overview

Production Planning / Master Scheduling - Develops, Directs, and trains with a formalized work instruction the production master schedule and scheduling methodology. Develops, implements, and trains all identified personnel with a formalized work instruction and protocol on mitigation efforts, escalation processes, and inter-departmental actions on what to do when there are issues in meeting the associated manufacturing schedules. Develops an accountability process and dashboard metrics for the communication of manufacturing schedules and status information to customers, suppliers, and company management. Develops a process for planners to perform flow time calculations and incorporates short term (72 hours), mid term (90 -120 days) and longer term (180-360 days) visibility of production demand into those calculations to insure manufacturing schedule adherence. Uses all vehicles of demand (forecasts, DMR, and discreet orders) and capacity data to create a robust and accurate master schedule and associated accurate manufacturing cell schedules.
