MAY OCCASSIONALLY NEED TO SUPPORT OTHER SHIFTS
Provide ergonomics support to the Everett site operations to achieve reduction in ergonomics related injuries. Customer support include providing leadership for ergonomics program implementation, performing ergonomics assessments, providing ergonomics training, providing guidance for ergonomic solutions, working with the appropriate support organizationsto improve manufacturing process through implementation of new technology or processes, evaluating new tool design and process for ergonomic risk assessment.
JOB SKILLS: Level 3 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years of related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years or a PhD or equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree or greater in mathematics, scientific or information technology field of study. The job requires competencies in leadership, adaptability, ability to build positive working relationship with all management ranks as well as with the factory customers and support organizations, understanding of business and operational acumen, excellent communication skills, high level of customer focus, ability to make good decisions that are timely and sometimes with limited information, ability to initiate actions, ability to manage complex projects, systems thinking, human engineering knowledge (physiology, perception, ergonomics, anthropometry), knowledge of industry/government standards, and ergonomic evaluation tools.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
