Position Description

Under limited supervision, provides single source multi-discipline capability in the repair, maintenance, installation and enhancement of machinery and equipment representing high complexity with respect to interrelated systems. May provide work leadership to other team members.

Essential Functions:

1.Assembles and installs mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and systems such as production machinery/tools.
2.Uses variety of hand and power tools, and machines to perform duties.
3.Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, structural components, etc.
4.Designs, develops and implements preventative maintenance programs on machinery and mechanical systems. Performs required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. Analyzes associated data and logs.
5.Evaluates data to determine equipment performance.
6.Troubleshoots and repairs all failures in any equipment or system using in-depth knowledge of multiple technologies, which include but are not limited to robotics, pick and place, assembly presses and fixtures.
7.Performs precision alignments, assemblies and other tests associated with installation, qualification and/or refurbishment on all machinery and equipment.
8.Reviews service requests for repairs and maintenance determines nature of problem and recommends appropriate solution.
9.Conducts preventive maintenance inspections and performs required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter change, etc.
10.Responsible for prompt and regular attendance as scheduled.
11.May do limited carpentry and painting.
12.May have assigned duties in carrying out the hazardous materials program.
13.May participate in Company's selection process.
14.Participates in team meetings as required (safety, problem-solving, etc.)
15.Implements the Quality Policy and Procedures in all aspects of daily duties and responsibilities.

- Familiar with Fanuc (ie can the pull up and understand parameters).
- Maintenance repair, troubleshooting, and adjustment of CNC Machine tools (Vertical and Horizontal mills, and Lathe's with live tooling and multi axis).
- Calibration of CNC Machine Tools such as ball bar testing and adjustment.
- Familiarity with both Hydraulic and Electrical systems and integration with CNC Machine tools.

May be required to work overtime.
