TRAINING EQUIPMENT DESIGN
Candidate should be familiar with design elements required to support aircraft Maintenance Training devices. This position is for the design effort of a CV-22 Maintenance Trainer, consisting of computer systems with video distribution and conversion, Power distribution and safety systems, Distributed I/O systems, intercom systems, DC power distribution, wire harness design, cable design, electronic/electrical engineering design tools, Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems and National Electrical Code.
JOB SKILLS: Work with customer on requirements and solutions to issues related to the design. Lead the design team in developing design requirements for the team and suppliers. Work closely with a multi-disciplined team to support design, integration, and test. Candidate should be able and implement solutions for the CV-22 Maintenance Trainer. Requires basic knowledge of various military and commercial bus architectures such as: 1553, RS232, RS433, and ARINC429 are also desired. Knowledge of flight training and maintenance training devices is desired. Working knowledge of Mentor Graphics is required.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
