Provides Tool Engineering skills, knowledge, and experience in lean build, delivery, post-production, modification, and recovery processes to solve complex manufacturing problems, resulting in affordable, producible and sustainable products. Must be able to perform Aerospace type tooling design tasks with emphasis on Major Assembly Fixtures, Locating Jigs, Boring Fixtures, Major Modification Tools along with Support Plans, Design and Production Validations, Retrofit, Repairs, and Tool Usage Instructions.
Should have ability to coordinates and resolves critical, complex or high visibility tooling issues with customers and suppliers. Perform Tool Design Reviews, and develop complex analysis (e.g., stress, static and dynamic loading, thermal factors, etc.) Works under consultative direction.


JOB SKILLS: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience.

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experience in CATIA V5 and Enovia Environment or Equivalent
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
