JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for providing 24/7 availability of server served software licenses (AEC 4 support level)

Tasks:
Validate and install license files on enterprise license servers
Troubleshoot and resolve license delivery issues such as license server manager down or non-responsive
License file will not load on system
End user unable to access a license
Assists with the installation of license monitoring software
Ensures the continuous monitoring of software licenses
Coordinate the migration of software licenses to enterprise license server pools
Identify license pooling opportunities
Identify and resolve license pooling technical issues
Coordinate migration activities with Computer Science Corp (CSC), Dell and engineering customer
Will keep up to date on license serving technologies

Primary Skills:
Expert knowledge of software license server managers such as FlexLM, LUM, Sentinel, Reprise and ELAN
System administration experience with Windows, Linux, AIX, SUN and HP operating systems
Experience writing scripts in Perl, c-shell and VBS
