The position is for a programmer/analyst to provide software support, development and maintenance for applications that manage the Manufacturing & Quality Systems for Tooling. These systems work in conjunction with the Enterprise MESci suite of applications as Company's Legacy applications.
In addition to software development and maintenance, the candidate will need the ability to translate customer requests and requirements into software designs and application features. Possess excellent communication skills oral and written. Have the ability to work on a team in a variety of roles. Candidate must demonstrate: operational experience in developing software through the entire software lifecycle.
General roles and responsibilities: Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains software applications, tools and data. Gathers and evaluates end user requirements. Reviews other team member's designs and code. Analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements. Modifies and/or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality. Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems. Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements.
