Travel to customer site in CA or South Carolina may be required; no more than twice/year. Company will cover such expenses. Local travel to customer sites in Everett, WA and Renton, WA will be expected as needed.
Experienced software tester/analyst with working knowledge of Dassault Systemes' DELMIA tool. The candidate will have the dual role as DELMIA tester and DELMIA analyst. The successful candidate will have good communication skill, be a team player, be able to multi-task effectively, work under schedule pressure as well as provide technical leadership to test team. Prior experience as tester and analyst in large-sized software development effort are required. Complete familiarity with DELMIA (that is, fluent in using DELMIA PE or V5 client and know its data model such as PlanTypeSet) and manufacturing engineer processes are required. He/she should be skilled in soliciting/capturing requirements as well as defining comprehensive test plans/cases and executing them. Prior experiences doing different types of testing such as regression, performance/load and scenario testing help. Person should have experience in technical lead role. Familiarity with automated test tools is a plus. Familiarity with ENOVIA tool and Macroscope documentation is a plus.
Responsibilities. The individual will… Partner with customer representatives and developers during Requirements Definition Phase. Lead in requirements definition, define test scenarios and detailed test cases. Execute tests for enhancements and defects; write defects as appropriate and work with Developers to resolve and test. Assist test lead and project manager in defining test strategy and overall test plan. Coordinate and work with customer representatives to obtain enhancement/defect fix acceptance. Lead/guide a team of testers.
JOB SKILLS: DELMIA Software Tester and Analyst
Familiarity with the DELMIA product is essential; must be able to use DELMIA tool (V5 client or PE client) and thoroughly understand DELMIA data model (e.g., PlanTypeSet). Prior testing experience in defining comprehensive test cases to capture not only the business scenarios, but also the failure conditions (negative tests), is very important. Prior analyst experience in organizing complex requirements to facilitate subsequent design and solution development as well as maintaining traceability are critical. Technical leadership experience is needed.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and typically 9 or more years of related work experience,
or
Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with typically 7 or more years of related work experience.
