The candidate will be responsible for the design from conception to manufacturing & Assembly (including layout, design, analysis, detail & assembly drawings) of various components to replicate aircraft parts such as drives systems, propulsion components and LRUs for the Apache trainer suite. They will need to package several electronic cabinets including an Instructor Operator Station (IOS) Electronic Support cabinet. They must have an understanding of the Microsoft office (excel, word & Power point) used to create peer review packages of their designs. The candidate will Interface with the checker, CM & other members of the Apache IPT to assure a smooth flow of data throughout engineering.
JOB SKILLS: Apache Longbow Maintenance Trainer experience required. The Position requires 3D solid modeling of miscellaneous airframe modifications, sheet metal supports and brackets, aircraft and cockpit designs for the Block III Apache Maintance Trainers. They will resolve technical problems that could critically affect performance, cost or schedule. Candidate should be an expert in UGII NX5 and have a working knowledge of CATIA version 4 or 5 CAD System.
