This position is for Materials & Processes Engineer/Metallic Materials.
Bachelor degree in engineering concentrating in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, or Materials Science/Engineering preferred.
Minimum 10 years of directly related experience in manufacturing / production / design experience with metallic materials (aluminum, ferrous, titanium) and fabrication processes (welding, heat treat, forming, machining, fastening, NDT inspection, etc) or 15 years experience with broad experience in several of the above metallic materials disciplines.
Experience in corrosion/corrosion control, and metallic materials failure analysis desired.
Must have experience with aircraft engineering design support (design and drawing review).
Must have experience with process development/materials applications and trouble-shooting in an aircraft production environment.
Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Experience with CATIA desired
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
