Seeking instructors/developers to staff multiple positions, directly supporting Learning, Training, and Development (LTD) Puget Sound in the development/delivery of web and/or instructor-led classes associated with several production systems/ computer applications that support new commercial aircraft programs and legacy aircraft programs. These include, but are not limited to, ERPLN, VELOCITY, NCM, OWI, CAPP II, CATIA V4 or V5, ENOVIA, DELMIA, REDARS/EID/IVT and PDM. The training needs are in multiple job roles, including ME, PA (Procurement Agent), SCA (Supply Chain Analyst), CP (Capacity Planner), MPRF, or QA (Quality Assurance), in support of Boeing Airplane Programs, including 787 and our Partners. As an LTD subject matter expert (SME) for training, may develop training materials as needed with software upgrades and delivers training as revised. Remain current on the data requirements for each course and frequently test the data to insure reliability.
JOB SKILLS: Must be a self-starter and have the ability to develop just-in-time creative solutions to complex problems in an often fast-paced environment, work multiple projects simultaneously and ensure follow-through. Must be comfortable presenting material in a classroom setting. Must have the ability to learn to use multiple types of software to instruct from or to create, edit, review, and approve training media elements. Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of tools is required. Web development experiences are a plus. Training experience preferred. 787 experiences is a plus. Basic understanding of DCAC/MRM implementation and/or 787 Production Operations is a plus. Experience using any or all of the above stated systems is a plus. Instruct and assess the performance of students in classrooms and other training environments. Prepare students in order to perform their assigned tasks. Translate subject expertise into course learning objectives. Determine and apply assessment criteria. Perform instructor duties in multiple Puget Sound sites on multiple shifts. Work as part of a Puget Sound wide instructor/development group and support the standardization of delivery practices across the instructor pool. Act as Subject Matter Expert in the preparation and development of training courseware including: instructor and student guides, handouts, and written assessments.
