This position requires a thorough understanding of aircraft systems (including avionics), software, hardware, system integration & operation, a background in performing detailed analysis as well as good written & oral communication ability. Prepare risk assessments, evaluate and resolve safety design issues taking into consideration incidents and unplanned events. Works under consultative direction.
Analyzes will typically involve hazard identification and evaluation. Experience with Fault Tree Analysis, Hazard Analysis, Safety Assessments and UK Safety Cases. Knowledge of MIL-STD-882 or ARP-4761. Review test plans & reports.
JOB SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 9 years' experience.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
