Position

Overview

We are looking for Experienced Manufacturing Engineers, with expertise in airplane subsystems, production readiness and composite fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for air vehicle subsystems.
· Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
· Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
· Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Participate in design reviews and lead manufacturability and assembly decisions.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
Requirements

What you'll need

Required Skills:
· Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
· 9 + years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR 7+ years of work-related experience with a Masters Degree OR work-related experience with a PhD

Preferred Skills:
· B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
· Composite Fabrication experience
· Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
· Experience with 3D model based instruction
· Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, NX, IPDM Teamcenter, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA,
· VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi-Monitor Collaborative Rooms, Enterprise Standard Gated Process
· Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
· Experience with CINCOM
· Experience reviewing and approving other engineers’ work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
