Summary:

Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will plan and schedule available resources and materials for maintenance activities associated with preventative and corrective maintenance in the most effective and efficient way.  Assist in development of the detail work scope and setup forecasts for resource allocation to ensure preventative and corrective work activities are completed in conjunction with manufacturing operations activities. Is responsible for overseeing work order activity team compliance with regulatory requirements (i.e. FDA, DEA, OSHA). 

Responsibilities:

- Ensure all work planned is safe, effective and in compliance with the appropriate industry and regulatory (FDA, DEA, OSHA) standards, and Departmental, Plant and Corporate Quality and HS&E goals.

- Planning and Scheduling activities for facilities and maintenance groups:

Planning activities:

- Develop and communicate work scope for planned corrective and preventative maintenance tasks that involve multi-crafts.
- Responsible for job plan/Tasks accuracy new and modified in CMMS database (planned vs. actual for labor and materials)
- Identify vendor resources and delivery capabilities for parts and materials for planned corrective and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that PM’s are issued, tracked and completed per compliance requirements

Scheduling activities:

- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities between mfg operations, maintenance and contract personnel.
- Maintain and publish maintenance schedule according to priority and resource availability.
- Arrange for and schedule contract support as needed to complete corrective and preventative tasks.
- Orchestrate scheduling meetings for manufacturing operations and maintenance resource coordination.
- Work with crafts, production and/or clients to ensure schedule adherence.

Other required activities:

- Ensure compliance to applicable SOP’s.
- Provide daily procurement support of parts and supplies for maintenance and production customers (where applicable)
- Maintain supplier data base with vendor data and best sources for pricing and/or delivery

Skills:

- Minimum 8 years of work experience in manufacturing or maintenance environment.
- Experienced in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, medical device, food and beverage preferred
- This position may require use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, respirator, hearing protection, protective gloves and shoes in designated areas.
- Ability to delegate to and lead personnel
- GMP knowledge and continuous improvement / cost reduction methods preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Projects, Excel,  CMMS Database knowledge, SAP or Maximo is a plus
