Supports medical program and clinic activities by performing specimen collection and medical testing such as audio visual, xray, drug & alcohol, phlebotomy, and other ancillary tests according to established protocols, and /or by performing clinical activities, such as patient intakes vital signs, immunizations, discharge, and per protocols Interfaces with employees, healthcare providers, comopany organizations, and suppliers. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of samples, lab testing data, and patient history.
JOB SKILLS: High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of accrediated program for Medical Assistants with eligibility to procure Health Care Assistant Certification with Categories A,C, and E. Good communication skills, both verbally and well written. Good customer service interface, a necessity.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
