This assignment entails working with our composite technology development team working with advance composite processes and materials. In this position, the candidate will work under the leadership of a senior engineer. This is a hands-on position in both a lab and production environment with specific assignments that may include process development, automation systems for composite fabrication, and tooling for composites.
JOB SKILLS: Experience working with Carbon and Fiberglass reinforcements, Epoxy resin systems required. Familiar with various advance composite materials processes such as Prepreg, resin infusion, hand lay-up, forming processes, autoclave and oven cures etc. a plus. AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
