JOB DUTIES: Analyze the new or exiting training solution 1) capture business requirements driving training request such as Block Point release, 2) identify audience and audience size, 3) review current methods available to company, work shop, seminar, and/or job aid)and select method most appropriate for audience, 4) identify duration for solution, 5) identify system requirements both for development of training solution and delivery, identify training data needed, 6) review and obtain copies of all source files and reference files needed for training solution development and/or delivery, if new training solution is needed research existing training solutions to leverage team expertise/material/design for new training, 7) run report and review usage information, 8) if solution is an existing course, review previous analysis and course outline/updates, make sure solution continues to meet needs of the program, 9) determine recommendation for new or update to existing training solution course (ILT, workshop, WBT) or other solution (seminar, job aid, live broadcast course), 10) Create delivery plan for ILT solution and coordinate with delivery focal as needed, 11) write course objectives and sub objectives, 12) align work to funding source for learning solution project, 13) identify project risks/issues/constraints
JOB SKILLS: 5 years or more experience in performing Audience Analysis, Task Analysis, and Job Analysis. 5 years or more experience in determining appropriate learning solutions based on cost and time constraints. 5 years of experience with writing or reviewing Instructional Systems Design, Development and Delivery.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
