Overview

JOB DUTIES: Under the guidance of the Documentation Manager, the Technical Writer works closely with other technical communicators and graphic designers to develop a suite of documentation and training materials including user and admin .guides, computer-based training modules and corporate training slides.

Responsibilities:
Write, edit and maintain documentation and training materials for users and administrators. Verify the accuracy of documentation and training materials. Brainstorm and implement improvements to current and future documentation. Other duties as assigned by management.

JOB SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, English or related field.
One to two years of writing and/or editing experience.

Special Requirements
U.S. Citizenship required.
Excellent writing and copy editing skills. (Writing samples are strongly encouraged. Strong aptitude for technical comprehension.
Familiarity with various software applications used for writing and editing (including Microsoft Office and Adobe products).
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment that requires interaction with software developers, testers and other personnel.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
