JOB DUTIES: Deliver classroom industrial skills training and job simulation skills training using various media and methods.
Assess employee skills to meet certification and qualification requirements in compliance with Company and government regulations.
Follow all applicable administrative processes.
JOB SKILLS: The ideal candidate has extensive aircraft industry experience in composite repair. (structural repair including taper sanding, vacuum bagging, heat blanket cures, surface preparation, familiarity with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic, honeycomb, fiberglass, structural aluminum.)
A Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years related work experience, a Master's degree and 4 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience effectively delivering classroom and/or job-based simulation, shop floor-environment training in most of the disciplines stated above. Experience using a learning management system strongly preferred.
The ability to recognize and accommodate different adult learning styles.
The ability to correctly interpret drawings, documents, and work instructions.
The ability to use Company drawing system applications and the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
A positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are also required.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to ongoing change.
TRAVEL REQUIRED: YES
TRAVEL DESCRIPTION: This position will primarily support Everett but there is potential to support across the Puget Sound region and other parts of the United States.
ADDITIONAL WORK SCHEDULE DETAILS: POTENTIAL TO WORK REVOLVING SHIFTS (1ST, 2ND, 3RD)
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
