Quality Systems Specialist

Company's Supplier Quality (SQ) group has a requirement for a Quality Systems Specialist. The successful candidate will support the 787 program by applying knowledge and experience with external suppliers, nonconformance management, corrective action, and configuration management requirements. The Quality Systems Specialist role will be in support of the Final Assembly for Emergent Process Document (EPDs) management, EPD review and approval of supplier Material Review Board (MRB) activities as well as quality oversight to coordinate and collaborate on supplier configuration management activities. This position will participate in projects with multiple disciplined/ functional groups administrating policies, processes and plans as required. Willingness and ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a sense of diplomacy and teaming ability is required. This position interacts with company employees and suppliers; analyzes quality related data; processes records and provides solutions to issues. (note: the term "supplier" is interchangeable with partner, supplier, and/or processor) Knowledge and experience with internal and external suppliers quality, corrective action, configuration management, and nonconformance procedures and processes is helpful. General knowledge of quality and engineering requirements, policies and procedures; knowledge of the Material Review Board processes (MRB certified or ability to gain certification is required).
