This is a Engineering On-Site shop support assignment working on 787 Mid-Body Integration. The individuals selected will work electrical systems integration approximately 75% of the time with the other 25% of the time spent on other systems issues. Provide DE support to all functions (PMO, MMO, MT, ME, LE, QA, QE, SM, SQ, SC Leadership Team) as required to deliver a completed product on-time with first pass quality. You will be expected to work unfamiliar issues and have the knowledge and experience to fully understand and provide the needed assistance. Guidance is available from our team leads and managers as needed. Perform design reviews and provide analysis of issues for design build workshops and lean workshops.
JOB SKILLS: Knowledge of: Wire Harness Design - basic understanding. Wire Harness Installation - need thorough understanding of wire routing principles particularly wire separation requirements. Current Return Network - thorough knowledge of bonding and grounding principles and requirements as needed to work CRN issues. Systems bracket design. Catia V5 proficient. Prior 787 Wire harness design, wire harness installation, or ECAT experience is strongly preferred. Experience with company systems or functional testing is a positive but not required.
